URANUS, AI, AND SHAKESPEARE: Part 1

Hi there, Beautiful!

Before I dive into today’s topic, I have something I want to share with you.

A piece of wonderful news

So many of you have reached out wanting to know how my daughter’s recovery is going after my previous blog post, so I want to give you a little update.
Yesterday, she sent me a video clip oozing with joy, and tears welled up in my eyes (again) when I watched it.
– Mum, I can do a pirouette again! It’s a really ugly one, but I made it!!! So things are going in the right direction, far beyond our wildest expectations. And thank you to all who care about her.

A very necessary decision

There is one more thing I want to share before we get going.
I started this blog post thinking I could fit the topics promised in the title into my usual, slightly oversized format, but as I reached 2.500 words, I began to get nervous. When I arrived at 3.500, still with many words left unwritten, I decided to make this into a series. Next week, parts 2 and 3 will be available for you to read, if you want.

Now, we can begin

On April 26, I posted a quick message on social media about Uranus’s entry into Gemini that day.
One of my friends wanted to know more about what that means, so this is for you, Sarah:
A more in-depth explanation of what Uranus’s INGRESS into Gemini may bring, and how it will probably be felt and experienced in our lives.
But before I start with what lies ahead for all of us, I will give you a brief introduction to the main characters in the play.

GEMINI – the twins

The 3rd sign in the natural zodiac is GEMINI.
The imagery used to describe the sign of Gemini is often that of two individuals.
It illustrates what happens when we end up with, for example, another person. As we acknowledge the other person’s existence, a connection is formed. Even if we stay in our own sphere and decide not to interact, it is a conscious decision about how to handle the other person’s presence, which still connects us.

This is what GEMINI is about: separate parts in relation to one another, creating an exchange.
Some of the “cookbook ingredients” in Gemini are: communication, interaction, absorbing and sharing information.

Duality is also built into the vibrational frequency of this solar sign. Gemini is non-stop sorting out where in between the opposites to put pieces of information: Where on the scale should it go? Yin-yang, good-bad, hot-cold, strong-weak, enjoyable-tedious, etc. And yet, opposites are not a very precise measurement tool since everything is relative, and the opposites lie somewhere on an infinite scale in the midst of everything else.

And if we stick to the common image of Gemini, that of two individuals, they are different from each other. Even if they were to be identical, they are still different – one is placed to the left and the other to the right. This brings us to the other important aspect of Gemini. Comparison.

Sorting and categorising, evaluating, and deciding what things are. Then reorganising everything again, as soon as new information is added. If you are born under a Gemini-Sun, this may be very familiar to you 😉

Uranus – the disruptor and renewer

Our next character to introduce is the planet Uranus.
He lives for doing things in a different, and a BETTER way. Easily bored, Uranus is abhorred by rigid and cemented beliefs and structures valied only because they have been around for a long time.

If Uranus wants to present one of his ideas to you, and you respond by leaning back in your armchair and telling him-“Buddy, THIS is how we do things around here”-you may regret it.
Uranus brings to everything he touches an energy of renewal, upheaval, disruption, shift, change and inventiveness. Therefore, he is seen as quite rebellious by nature.

Innovations and technological advancements are often connected to the planet Uranus. He is a catalyst, a change agent, and a wild card.

When Uranus knocks on the door

Hola!

Along his orbit around the Sun, Uranus stays in each zodiac sign for about 7 years. And everywhere he visits, he makes a “mess”.
At the end of April, he began his 7-year-long stay at Gemini’s, and during this time, he will snoop around the twins’ entire house.
You have probably had someone with a similar personality visiting your own home at some point.
One of those scary guests who scan your habitat with evaluating eyes, and it can be hard to read how they feel about what they see. Almost absentmindedly (a disguise!!!), they check the cupboards, open the drawers, go through your bookshelves, and you can safely bet your most precious possession that they are going to open the doors to your bathroom cabinet when they need to visit the WC. Uranus is exactly like one of those people who make us feel slightly uncomfortable and naked when they show up.

While faffing around your house, Uranus is muttering to himself, making mental lists of everything that could be done better or more efficiently. He is aiming to make things perfect.
He gets downloads of new ideas, concepts, solutions, and innovative ways of doing what he thinks needs to be done. There is probably a lot Uranus would like to shift, as he is always at the forefront, hunting for the most recent trends, latest fads and newest gear.

If you resist Uranus too much, he may very well start to reorganise your furniture and repaint your house in a different colour. This, without asking for your permission.

There it is, the weakness…

When I have been reflecting on the resistance we have toward change, and especially when Uranus swirls into our charts and turns everything upside down, I have come to the conclusion that there actually IS value in our resistance.

Uranus pulls from his end, and we resist from ours – and the pulling will show us where the weakest link is. When something gives way under Uranus’s pull, when something breaks, we will be able to see where the structures we have built need reinforcement, adjustment and reconstruction.
Most often, he points out parts in our lives that we may have overlooked, neglected, or pretended were all fine and dandy. It would have broken further down the line, anyway, but Uranus is just rushing the process a bit. Who knows, maybe he is helping us avoid even bigger drama and, in doing so, saving us time.

When this rebellious planet has done his job and decides to go somewhere else, he often leaves us exhausted, in a pile of debris, and we have to find the strength to build something to replace what he has torn down. Interestingly enough, when we have wiped our tears over what has been lost and regained our footing, we often realise (reluctantly) that he actually did us a favour.
The new structure proves to be more efficient, more favourable and more in alignment with what we want to create. Our life-compass needle is guiding us more precisely in the direction we would love to go.

Uranus in Gemini

If you make a guess, what do you think will happen if you take connection, communication, categorisation, and discernment, and then add change, disruption, innovation, renewal, rebellion (!!!) and the tearing down of old and outdated structures?
Do you get a sense of where we are heading?

At a collective level, many astrologers have predicted 7 years of rapid technological advancement and extraordinary scientific discoveries.
They expect an avalanche of new ways to interact, share and process information (peaceful and not so much – duality and opposites, remember?!).
This is not about a new social media platform getting hyped; it is much larger than that. This tsunami of technical innovations will touch on everything – medicine, science, business, finance, art, creativity, spirituality– you name it.

What we need to remember when contemplating planetary energies is that they are vibrational frequencies available all around us.
To put these vibrational frequencies to good use is our job. How they are expressed and the shape they take on depend on the level of consciousness (the energy field of each person) through which these vibrations travel. So this energetic combination of Gemini and Uranus is not “malevolent” or “benevolent” per se – it just IS.

This particular combination will also be expressed and shaped by our collective and individual belief systems and responses. If you think about the image of the breaking chain above, our inner resistance to the changes Uranus requests will cause the chain to continuously break at its weakest points. The breaks will happen where remodelling, renovation, tearing down and rebuilding new structures are needed. The area in focus where we will see this most acutely is in how we communicate, interact, learn, absorb, collect and share information, and how we evaluate, compare and judge the world around us.

On a personal level, this can be a very rich time. When we have gone through the messy stage, with Uranus bulldozing outdated structures, many new ideas may come to us: insights, epiphanies, and a deeper, broader understanding. Suddenly, we may find solutions and inspiration on how to do things we have never thought about before. So listen to your inspiration very carefully, and take your ideas seriously when they show up.

We might experience a deep longing to learn and expand our horizons, and also look at the familiar from different perspectives. We might yearn to communicate our findings – to share what we have understood with others, and we may think thoughts we have never ever thought before. And there will be rebelliousness!

Sorry for recycling this drawing, but I can’t help myself…

Last year (July 7 to November 7, 2025), we got a little taste of what Uranus in Gemini feels like, before the planet retrograded back into Taurus to say goodbye properly.

As a personal example, it was during this time that I really began to notice the impact AI has on my reality.
If the other astrologers’ predictions are correct, this is what we will get more of. We will experience a technical reality in a state of enormous flux.
As I am writing this post, Uranus has reached 1 degree, Gemini, in the astrological chart – and we have another 29 degrees to cover before Uranus kisses the (by then) exhausted twins on their cheeks and moves in with Cancer.

Gone in the blink of an eye

If this blog is still up and running 7 years from now, and you are still reading it, we can evaluate together whether this prediction was true or not.

Furniture moving music!!!!

Here is the choise for today’s blog post. I have picked one of my favourite bands, Arctic Monkeys, and their fabulous and “smirky” “Don’t sit down ’cause I’ve moved the chair.” Yey!!!!!!!

I giggled as I came to think of this one as it is, in my ears, the perfect song for the topic. Arctic Monkeys is a favourite band that I have liked for many, many years. Rebellious, raw, independent – Uranian, for short! The song is now added to Magic Mittens’ Magic playlist!

If you want to go deeper, we can look at what Uranus is up to in your chart.

If what I have shared makes you curious about your own expansion and growth, we can take a look at your chart to see where  Uranus is trying to pull the rug from under your feet (to create a more stable foundation for you). As you may know, I offer astrological readings. I would love to take a closer look at what mischief he is up to in your life and what adventures he is offering you. If this feels exciting and you would like us to have a session, check out my booking calendar there you will find the available appointments.

Thank you for the time you spent with me today. Parts 2 and 3 of what was initially a single post will be published next week. If you would like to read those posts as well, you can subscribe to this blog if you enter your email in the little box at the top. I would love to stay in touch.

Lots of love, take care and see you next time!
